FREE SEEDLINGS DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM
Board (COCOBOD) through the Seed Production Division (SPD) raises disease-tolerant hybrid cocoa seedlings for distribution to farmers free of charge. The initiative is aimed at increasing cocoa production and incomes of cocoa farmers.
Distribution of the seedlings to farmers is mostly done from May – July every year to enable farmers plant them.

Boahen Aidoo was elected to serve three successive terms as Member of Parliament for the Amenfi East Constituency in the Western Region from the year 2001 to 2012. For half that same period, he served also as the Western Regional Minister, where he distinguished himself.
